It takes time to hand-make the traditional Shaws kitchen sink – between three to four weeks in total. Shaws of Darwen use time-honoured techniques that have been passed down from master craftsman to apprentice for well over a century. These techniques include slip casting, hand finishing, twice glazing and firing. They promise to provide the most beautiful, practical, handcrafted fireclay sinks in the world.
